WHAT'S AT THE PARK?
South Gate's 96-acre Park Includes :
- Sports Facilities - Ten baseball diamonds, six tennis courts, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard court, basketball and handball courts, 9-hole Frisbee golf, and a Sports Center with Olympic size pool.
- Sports Center Swimming Pool -- Public swimming and swimming lessons in this Olympic size pool.

- Classes and seasonal activities - Every season, a wide variety of classes, recreational trips, and other activities are available through South Gate's Parks.
- Municipal Auditorium & Girls Clubhouse - Centers of community activity, the City's recreation program, youth serving agencies and civic groups meet in these buildings, which are available for rental.(323) 563-5443
- Picnic Grounds - 20 acres of improved picnic grounds with tables, barbecues, and a cookhouse.
- Senior Citizens' Clubhouse - A wide variety of activities for senior residents.(323) 566-9923

- Hollydale Park 323-563-5776 - Located North of Century Boulevard, adjacent to the Los Angeles River. Basketball, volleyball, handball & tennis courts. Also, a horse arena, playground equipment, soccer fields (requires permit to play) and softball diamonds.
- Circle Park 323-563-5776 - Located at Garfield and Karmont. Basketball and volleyball courts, playground equipment, and a softball diamond.
- Hollydale Community Park 323-563-5777 - This park has play apparatus, limited picnic facilities, outdoor volleyball and basketball courts, and a softball diamond. The Hollydale Community Building is available for community programs and rentals.
- Stanford Avenue Park - Located between Iowa and Illinois Avenues, next to the school.
